Zoomlion convenes strategic partner meeting in Germany for European expansion

On August 19, 2026, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. convened a strategic partner meeting at its factory in Germany, marking a significant step in the company’s European expansion. The gathering, which followed a visit to the company’s German subsidiary, m-tec, underscored Zoomlion’s commitment to localizing its operations and enhancing its market presence in Europe.
At the meeting, representatives from multiple European countries engaged in discussions on market development, product offerings, and service capabilities. Participants praised Zoomlion for its improvements in product quality and technology, but highlighted the need for enhanced service and spare parts support. In response, Zoomlion Chairman and CEO Zhan Chunxin affirmed the company’s dedication to long-term localization, emphasizing the strategic importance of Europe to its growth.
Zoomlion plans to bolster its European spare parts and service networks, aiming to reduce response times and improve parts availability. The company is also advancing a digital service platform that will automate service task assignments and tracking, providing customers with more accessible information on equipment, spare parts, and services. These initiatives are part of an ongoing effort to introduce new products and technologies, broadening the company’s portfolio to better serve local market needs.
On August 25, Zhan Chunxin toured m-tec’s production and R&D facilities in Germany. During the visit, he reviewed the subsidiary’s operations, particularly its advancements in 3D printing technology. Zhan stressed that Zoomlion would continue to support m-tec, leveraging the group’s global market presence, R&D capabilities, and financial resources. The subsidiary, which has been pivotal in developing dry-mix mortar machinery and building materials, has grown significantly since joining Zoomlion in 2014, playing a crucial role in the company’s European localization strategy.
Zoomlion’s localized operations across Europe are supported by local production facilities, including CIFA in Italy, m-tec and its associated companies WILBERT and RABE in Germany, and an aerial work platform factory in Hungary. This extensive footprint allows the company to bring manufacturing, technical expertise, and customer support closer to European markets, thereby enhancing its responsiveness and service quality.
Looking ahead, Zoomlion plans to continue integrating global resources with local capabilities to strengthen customer support and drive sustainable growth in Europe. The company’s strategic localization efforts are expected to drive innovation and expand its market reach, positioning it as a key player in the European construction industry.
